If you know me or read my "about" you know I have a deep affinity for sports, athletes, and inspiration. I know people typically believe that when you bring in pro athletes for inspirational/athletic campaigns it lessens the likelihood of the campaign failing. That may have some validity to it, but you still need great copywriting, art direction, production, and a solid strategy for it to be great. The entire "Stronger Everyday" campaign that includes athletes across disciplines is great. Taking away my biases (because I know I love sports and this type of work) I can genuinely say it drove home the message it intended. From the minute long online video, to the 15 second spot with Stephen Curry, to the women athletes shown in both video and print it made me fall in love with this campaign. I left inspired and motivated. Along with the new packaging and website redesign I think Muscle Milk just may have a new customer in me.
